Welcome to the JLC Writing Services Blog

My Disclaimer

It has occured to me, with the help of my wonderful wife, that while this blog has some useful information about writing and blogging, the content is pretty vanilla. I originally set this up to showcase my ability to write, but quickly got away from doing just that...

So with that said, you will see some changes to the type of content being generated through my blog. Mostly, I'm letting loose and whatever comes to mind will probably show up here.

I have a lot of opinions and many observations about life and the craziness that goes on around all of us. None of it will be meant to offend, as I think everyone is entitled to their opinion. I will respect yours and I ask that you respect mine as well.

I would urge you to comment and share your opinions as well - It's what makes this world, and life, exciting.

If you like my writing style and see that it could fit in one of your upcoming projects, please get in touch with me. I love to write and being able to do it for a living is the ultimate dream job for me.

Cheers,

Jason

The Board of Trustees for the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library has challenged the community to raise the $2 million IMMEDIATELY that has been cut from the Library’s current (FY09-10) budget. I’m asking you to consider a tax deductible donation to the Library by March 26, 2010 to keep the 12 branches (148 layoffs) slated to be closed, open.

To note:
The ROI on $1 donated to the Library is $5.44 put back into the community.

This money must be raised by March 24, 2010.

The money cannot be designated to one branch. Our goal is to keep every branch open to serve our entire community!

The Library is critical to the education network of our community. We deliver equal opportunity education to all ages from early children’s literacy classes to late in life job training free of charge to all attendees.

To donate: www.cmlibrary.org/donatenow

Contributions received by March 31, 2010, will help lessen the severity of immediate library service reductions, and even after March 31, all contributions will continue to help us provide the best possible library services to the more than 17,000 adults and children we serve each day.
